Fragmented systems are inefficient
Modern hotels rely on a wide range of equipment: HVAC units, lighting systems, presence sensors, metering devices, and more. In addition, within each system, different types of devices usually coexist. For example, the hotel’s HVAC systems may combine multiple brands and models, modern series and legacy units.
This fragmentation of systems creates data silos, multiplies the monitoring and control components, increases maintenance complexity, impedes interoperability, and ultimately leads to operational inefficiency.
