Graphite® Thermocouple Analog Input Module

The Graphite thermocouple analog input module easily connects any device or sensor to Graphite HMIs and can be used in conjunction with any Graphite modules. This high density temperature input module provides up to eight isolated inputs and accepts a wide range of thermocouple types. Ideal for data acquisition applications.

Features and benefits

  • Temperature input control and monitoring

    Eight single-ended thermocouple analog inputs for T, E, J, K, R, S, B, N, C types. Includes NIST conformity, cold junction effect, A/D converstion errors, temperature coefficient and linearization conformity. Inputs are isolated from each other and the power supply.

  • High speed and high performing

    Sample time of 50-400 msec depending on enabled inputs. Temperature coefficient of 0.01%/°C. Unused inputs can be disabled to increase overal reading rate.

  • Flexible configuration

    Once programmed, the module can operate/control independent of the Graphite device as long as power is applied. Use in conjunction with any Graphite series module.

  • Non-volatile memory

    Retain all programmable parameters.

  • Easy to connect and remove

    Modules connect and communicate via proprietary USB connection to the various Graphite devices.

  • Simple setup with Crimson® configuration software

    Configure and perform routine re-calibrations with Windows® compatible Crimson® configuration software. The user-friendly graphical interface makes programming quick and easy.

  • LED status and alarm indicators

    Status LED displays the state of the module, including startup routine and error states. Alarm LED indicates the presence of an input fault condition.

  • Designed for harsh environments

    Durable metal construction. Suitable for hazardous environments with UL Class I, Division 2 listing and CE, ATEX/UKEX and IECEx approved. ABS Type approval for shipboard applications. Operating temperature of -40 °C to 75 °C

  • Module powered by Graphite® HMI

    Power is supplied by the Graphite® host device. Maximum power: 1.4 W.
