QUESTION
How can I activate my ProfiCore license file in ProfiTrace?
ANSWER
There are multiple ways to activate the license file with ProfiTrace.
Option 1: Start ProfiTrace with an internet connection, initialize your ProfiCore and the license window pops-up. In case no window pops-up you can go to: Help > License info tool
Click on "Download & Install license" and ProfiTrace will download the license automatically.
Option 2: Download the license file from directly from the HMS Anybus Diagnostics License Portal link below and install with the License info tool.
Option 3: Download the license file from our website and copy the file to the right directory.
C:\Program Files (x86)\ProfiTrace_Vx_x_x\App
or the hidden folder
C:\ProgramData\procentec\proficoreultra
ADDITIONAL INFO
The license file is always free for download and can be installed on every laptop or pc you want. you need the ProfiCore to start your measurements.
The license file name will always end with the ProfiCore serial number that you can find on the back of your ProfiCore.

Please use the following details when retrieving the license file from the portal:
- Product Group: PROFITRACE
- Product Code: order code
- Serial Number: Proficore serial number
- Major Version: 2
