Can I move my Netbiter from one account to another?

Move a Netbiter to another account

If a device should be moved into another account, it needs to be removed from the first one. If a system configuration is done, all configuration and logged data will be lost during the procedure. 

Nevertheless, if you have a Manage & Analyze account, it's recommended to download the data via reports before removing the device from the previous account.

"Every time you remove a Netbiter, the subscription will be deleted and needs to be renewed on the new account. A separate M&A subscription will need to be purchased for each Nebiter added!"

 

Necessary steps to follow

  • You must select one account.
  • Delete the Netbiter from all other accounts
  • Export template and dashboard from the current account of the Netbiter and import in the selected account.
  • Record/add the released Nebiter to the selected account.

Note that all data will be lost no matter how it's done!

It's also recommended to export the Profiles so that you can import it later on the new account.

If the account is configured with Profiles, you are able to export the profile to the new account, remove the device from the first account, and add it to the new one, and then add the profile to the device.

  • Go to Management > Profiles > Choose the profile to export and import in the new Account.

  • In the new account, choose the file downloaded (.data file) from your PC and import it.
