PRE-REQUISITES

The CUB5P has an internal jumper that needs to be set to the correct input signal value.

The CUB5I has 4 different internal inputs that need to be set per the input signal.

The CUB5V has an internal jumper that needs to be set to the correct input signal value.

  1. Determine the type of input signal being used and set the internal jumper accordingly.
  2. Program the Input parameters in Module #1-INP
  3. Programming any Setpoint output devices required in Module 4-SPT
  4. Program the Serial output in Module #5-SER if required.

Set the internal jumpers per the instructions for each display.

Instructions for Step 2:

Press and hold the SEL button until you see Pro No

Press RST button once to see 1-INP

Continue pressing SEL button to see RANGE = (select the correct input range)

Continue pressing SEL to see DECPT = (select number of decimals in your display)

Continue pressing SEL to see OFSET = usually left at ZERO

Continue pressing SEL to see FILTR = 1

Continue pressing SEL to see BAND = 120

Continue pressing SEL to see STYLE = KEY

Continue pressing SEL to see INP-1 = 4.00 (if using a current input signal)

Continue pressing SEL to see DSP-1 = 0

Continue pressing SEL to see INP-2 = 20.00 (if using a current input signal)

Continue pressing SEL to see DSP-2 = 100 (or what your MAX signal will display)

Continue pressing SEL to see USR IN = NO

Continue pressing SEL to see Pro No

Continue pressing SEL to see END.

 

Instructions for Step 3:

Press and hold the SEL button until you see Pro No

Press RST button 4 times to see 4-SPT

Continue pressing SEL to see SPSEL = NO (press RST to change to SP-1)

Continue pressing SEL to see ACT-1 = HI-UB

Continue pressing SEL to see SPT-1 = (your setpoint value)

Continue pressing SEL to see HYS-1 = 2
