How to create a display page in Crimson 3.x to display a drop-down menu for data entry.
Launch Crimson 3.x and configure a database for the applicable model. Under the file > new tab.
Create numeric tags for your data values by clicking data tags on the left side pane. Then new numeric tag. The default name will be tag 1 by right clicking on them you can rename as needed. Under the data tab change the extent from one item to array. Under the format tab you can also enter an item name as needed.
Click on Display pages left pane and create two new pages and rename as needed. On page one under right side pane system> system primitives> legacy primitives drag a text button over onto the display page.
Once it's on the page right click and under properties you have edit options. Text, size, color. position. etc.
Under the action tab setup as a user defined action on press with the command ShowPopup(page2).
Page two will be setup in a similar fashion with text and data boxes for your tag items and value entry. These are also under the system> system primitives> legacy primitive right pane menu tree.
Once setup pressing the enter value button will display the page 2 popup table where you can enter your item values.
There is a text button here as well that is programmed as a user defined action, goto page, page 1. Once your item values have been entered you can return to the home page.
