This document explains the meaning of the halo/ring lights on a FlexEdge device.
LED Color Function Description
| Green solid | Controller is configured and running | Everything is ok! |
| Pulsating White | PXE starting up | Linux OS is running Crimson runtime is not running |
| Steady dim White | PXE Running with Crimson stopped | Linux OS is running but Crimson runtime has stopped |
| Steady pale Green | PXE Running with Crimson running | Linux OS is running and Crimson runtime is running |
| Steady pale Red | Accepted alarms present | Alarm condition still present |
| Pulsating Red | Active alarms present | User defined tag alarm |
| Pulsating Red and Green | Identify command received | Link option feature enabled |
| Flashing Red and White | Crimson 3.2 crashed -restarting | Crimson runtime crashed during startup and is restarting |
| Blue rapid flashing | Bootloader is active | Unit is stuck in bootloader. An application is not present and the controller redio2d service did not update it for some reason. |
