This article addresses an issue customers may see when using FTP or Ebuddy, which uses FTP to do file transfers to/from the Ewon.
Ewon Cosy and Flexy devices
Why is FTP or an Ebuddy operation failing for my Ewon after firmware 15.0s1 (Flexy) or 23.0s1 (Cosy+).
A common failure after firmware 15.0s1 (Flexy) or 23.0s1 (Cosy+) is due to FTP now being closed on all interfaces by default.
To generate a backup you can alternatively use the web interface:

If you'd like to enable FTP, modify the "ClosedDevice" parameter as shown below. A value of zero will open FTP on all interfaces. The default value of 21 will disable FTP on all interfaces. More info about this parameter can be found here:
How to block all the unused Ewon Flexy/Cosy131/Cosy+ services on the LAN, WAN and/or VPN interface
Be sure to save and reboot for this change to take effect.
