To comply with the Radio Equipment Directive, starting from firmware 15.0, the Ewon Flexy FTP server is disabled by default. However, eBuddy still relies on the Flexy’s FTP server for backup/restore operations.
Starting with version 15.0, firmware upgrades are no longer supported through Ebuddy. To perform the upgrade, you must manually transfer the .EDFS secure firmware image (available on our website > Firmware section) either via FTP using a third-party FTP client or by loading it onto an SD card.
Ewon : Flexy
To enable the FTP Server of the Ewon Flexy, you must set the COM Parameter "CloseDevice" to 0.
The parameter can be set using the Tabular edition feature, under Setup > System > Storage > Tabular edition > Edit COM cfg
