This article describes how to access the Web GUI of the FlexEdge DA50A and DA70A. The Web GUI can be used for configuration and diagnostics, and is accessible through multiple connection methods.
FlexEdge DA50A, DA70A
• Access to the FlexEdge device via local Ethernet or a configured remote connection (e.g., VPN or cellular).
• Administrator credentials for the Web GUI.
• Web browser with HTTPS support.
• If connecting remotely to an interface marked 'Untrusted', the 'Web GUI' service must be enabled under System Configuration > Network > Firewall > Untrusted Traffic.

FlexEdge devices have two Ethernet ports enabled out of the box:
• First Ethernet port: DHCP enabled (automatically obtains IP address)
• Second Ethernet port: Static IP address 192.168.222.222, Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
There are two primary ways to connect to the Web GUI:
1. Open the Crimson 3.2 PC application.
2. Select 'Find Device' to locate the device's IP address.
3. In the Find Device window, select 'Identify' to flash the LED status ring of the target device.
4. Select 'Browse' to open the device's Web GUI in your default web browser.
1. In a web browser, enter:
• DA50A: da50-<last 6 digits of serial>.local
• DA70A: da70-<last 6 digits of serial>.local
2. Example: da50-123456.local
3. Press Enter to load the Web GUI login page.
Note: USB updates are not currently supported.
Default Username: Admin
Default Password:
• DA50A – Located on the left side of the unit.
• DA70A – Located on the right side, underneath the 3-sled slot housing.
You can log in either by clicking 'Browse' from Crimson's Find Device window
or by entering the device's IP address into a browser (e.g., https://10.255.254.6:4443).
If the IP address is on an interface marked 'Untrusted',
enable the 'Web GUI' service under System Configuration > Network > Firewall > Untrusted Traffic.
