The process outlined in this document is to instruct you on converting your Cellular device to Dial-to-IP. This can be done in the event that the device no longer has an active Cellular account or is unable to obtain a Cellular IP from the Cellular carrier for any reason. Once this process is complete you will be able to connect this device to the customer’s internet connection.
Things you will need:
NOTE: A2001 devices are already setup to be Dial-to-IP devices so this tutorial is not necessary for A2001’s
Logging into the Device
For C series devices
For D series devices
Then click “OK” then hit the “ENTER” key.
You should be brought to a screen like this.
NOTE: You will notice that as you type the password nothing is displayed, this is a security feature.
Now the device is setup to use the customer’s internet connect to process transactions.
Refer to DialtoIPSetup.doc for instructions on connecting these devices to the customer’s internet connection.
