This tech note will explain how to reset your NT24K back to factory defaults and share the process for several methods.
If the current login credentials (username/password) are unknown, then you can restore access to the switch if you have a NTCD-CFG card and a second NT24K of the exact matching model number. To find more information on the process, please visit the link below.
N-Tron® Series NT24K Switches - Using the Configuration Recovery Device (NTCD-CFG)
When the login credentials are known, simply logging into the web interface and navigating to the Configuration page will allow you to reset the device. You have the ability to choose certain settings to keep as is or to reset. Simply uncheck the appropriate checkbox to reset those settings and hit "Factory" on the bottom of the page.
As an example, if you want to keep your login credentials the same but reset everything else, uncheck everything but "Keep current usernames, passwords, and RADIUS configuration.".
If you do not know the IP address for the web interface, you have the option of logging into the Command Line Interface and using the command "config reset" to factory reset the NT24K switch. If you need assistance accessing the Command Line Interface, please visit the link below.
