ISSUE / QUESTION / SYMPTOM
Your Flexy is set up to send data to the DataMailBox (DMBox), but when retrieving data via the DMBox API, no data is available.
POSSIBLE CAUSES / ANSWER
First, check the following:
-
The Flexy is connected to Talk2m.
-
At least one tag has historical logging enabled.
-
In the Data Management settings, the Flexy is correctly configured to export historical data to the DMBox.
Additionally, review the event logs (Trace Level) on your Flexy. If you see these export logs, it means historical data is being sent:
If everything is correctly configured but data is still missing in the DMBox, the issue may be related to tag configuration.
Important: If a tag’s name or description contains characters resembling HTML code (e.g., < > & " '
), the server may block all tags from that Flexy, treating them as a potential code injection attempt.
SOLUTION
Ensure that no tag names or descriptions contain special characters. Removing these should allow data to be properly imported.
