Question: What features are included in the Talk2m light plan?

The Talk2m light plan includes the following features:

  • Unlimited number of Ewon devices and users
  • 2 concurrent VPN connections
  • 5 GB VPN traffic per month
  • 7 million DataMailbox datapoints per month
  • Service Level Agreement (SLA)

Question: How much does the Talk2m light plan cost?

Talk2m light provides essential industrial remote access at an attractive price.

Question: What are the limits of the Talk2m light plan?

Talk2m light includes:

  • 5 GB monthly VPN traffic
  • 7 million datapoints per month (DataMailbox)

If you exceed these limits, your account is capped until the end of the month.

If you need more capacity, consider Talk2m pro.

Question: What happens if I hit the limits of the Talk2m free plan?

The Talk2m free plan limits are:

  • 3 GB VPN traffic per month
  • 5 million datapoints per month

Once these limits are reached, the account is capped until the end of the month.

The following actions will no longer be possible:

  • Connecting to a device in Ecatcher
  • Accessing devices through M2Web or Ecatcher Mobile
  • Uploading new data to DataMailbox

Administrators will receive notifications at 80% and 100% usage.

If limits are reached regularly, consider upgrading to Talk2m pro.

 

Question: What is the process to upgrade from Talk2m free to Talk2m light?

  • Open eCatcher and log into your Talk2m account.
  • Go to Account → Credit & Contract.
  • Select “Request Talk2m pro…” and follow the steps.
  • Restart eCatcher.

You then have 3 months to confirm the upgrade by purchasing a refill. If no refill is purchased, the account returns to Talk2m free.

When ordering the refill, use TM50044 (Talk2m light Credit). This finalizes the Talk2m light plan for your account.

Question: How to change my Talk2M plan from light to pro?

If you need more included VPN traffic, concurrent connections, or DataMailbox points than what the Talk2m light plan provides, you should consider upgrading your account to Talk2m pro. 

Upgrading also prevents your account from being capped and avoids waiting until the next month to regain access to your remote devices.

To switch from Talk2m light to Talk2m pro, please contact your local HMS distributor or open a support ticket using our Support Portal.

 

Question: Is the Talk2m light plan limited in time?

No. Talk2m light is not time‑limited.

A standard refill (TM50044 – Talk2m light Credit) lasts one year as long as you do not exceed the included 50 SMS per month. When the credit becomes negative, simply purchase a new refill.

Question: What kind of technical support is available for Talk2m light users?

All Talk2m plans provide the same technical support.

Talk2m light includes a global SLA, which is an important advantage over Talk2m free.

Question: Is security different between Talk2m free, Talk2m light and Talk2m pro?

No. All Talk2m plans share the same high level of data security and protection.

Talk2m light and Talk2m pro include an SLA, providing additional service guarantees.

 

Question: Is there any impact of Talk2m light on the performance of my devices?

No. Talk2m light has no impact on the performance of Ewon devices.
