How to use KNX extended addressing in MAPS (Invalid Sending Address)

This article will show you how to enable the extended KNX Group Addressing to support group addresses above 15/7/255, if it is not enabled, Intesis MAPS will generate a pop-up message that says Invalid Sending Error.

  • KNX Protocol Translator Gateways configured via Intesis MAPS (IN701KNX1000000, IN701KNX2500000, IN701KNX6000000, IN701KNX1K20000, IN701KNX3K00000, INKNXDAL0640200, INKNXMEB0100000, INKNXMEB0200000, INKNXMEB0600000, INKNXMEB1200000)

 

PRE-REQUISITES

  • Connected Gateway.
  • Newest MAPS version installed.

 

IN THIS ARTICLE 

In the standard configuration you can assign the group addresses from 0/0/1 to 15/7/255 in our gateway, if you want to use more ( up to 31/7/255 ) activate the "Extended Addresses" function in the KNX section under the configuration tab.
