Summary 

The General Assembler II position assembles industrial display and control equipment, human machine interface, electronic components, and subassemblies. 

  

Essential Job Functions 

  • Assembles boards and units using hand tools to complete product assembly 

  • Proficiently use common assembly, hand tools, screwdrivers, pliers, and clamps as required 

  • Proficient in soldering and use of soldering tools.  

  • Able to perform both automated and assembling processes.  

  • Perform non-standard processes such as, hi-pot, conformal coating, and silicone as needed.  

 

Requirements 

  • Industry applicable certifications preferred (IPC, etc.) 

  • 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment 

  • Ability to read and interpret documents and the ability to write routine reports 

  • Microsoft Excel experience a plus 

 

Physical Requirements 

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs by oneself 

  • Continuous periods of sitting/standing/walking
