This August 2024, Intesis released Daikin HVAC compatibility with its IN770AIR bi-directional multi-indoor unit gateway.
It makes easier than ever the integration of up to 64 Daikin indoor units (VRV, Sky Air, VRV Hidrobox, Air Curtains, and HRV) using just a single gateway connected to the outdoor unit via DIII-Net to allow individual monitoring and control of the indoor units by a KNX, Modbus, BACnet or home automation control system.
Three available licenses allow you to choose the product that best suits your project’s dimensions:
Order Code | License | Capacity |
IN770AIRXXSO000 | XXS | Up to 4 indoor units |
IN770AIR00SO000 | Small | Up to 16 indoor units |
IN770AIR00MO000 | Medium | Up to 64 indoor units |
With the IN770AIR, distributors, and integrators can stock gateways before knowing the protocol to use. Once the protocol is defined, configure the gateway to work with a Modbus, BACnet, KNX installation, or with an IP-based home automation system.
The Intesis 700 Air series gateways are configured using the powerful Intesis MAPS configuration and diagnostic software. Once the IN770AIR gateway is connected to the Daikin DIII-net bus, the Intesis MAPS scanning function detect the connected Daikin indoor units as well as their control signals.
Connect up to 3 energy meters to the 700 Air series gateways and, thanks to its Power Estimation algorithm, obtain information on the estimated consumption of each indoor unit in the VRV installation. This algorithm provides valuable information for decision-making when designing energy-saving strategies.
