Heat pumps are becoming a central element in residential and light commercial projects; their integration into standardized building management systems is increasingly required. System integrators and HVAC stakeholders need reliable access to operational data, alarm signals, and control parameters to ensure an optimized performance, especially when they can use the communication assets they are used to, Intesis reliable gateways.
The new NIBE gateway provides bidirectional communication between NIBE air-source and ground-source heat pumps and BACnet or KNX installations. The solution supports integration of up to five heat pumps and up to 100 data points, allowing mixed systems within the same project.

Preconfigured templates are available on Intesis MAPS to select the appropriate model of NIBE heat pumps on each project, eliminating manual point mapping, reducing engineering time, and minimizing configuration errors. The gateway also exposes specific signals for NIBE accessories, including pool heating, 4-pipe cooling, photovoltaic systems, and multi-climate control.
Developed in collaboration with NIBE and certified with the UL and BTL marks, the gateway is designed to meet the reliability requirements of professional building automation environments. With this launch, Intesis expands its portfolio of brand-specific heat pump gateways, supporting standardized, efficient, and scalable integration in residential and light commercial projects.
