The 'Certified PROFINET Engineer' course is a world wide recognized training program. It's standardized by PROFIBUS International to create a quality platform for PROFINET qualified persons who are acknowledged by an official exam.
Where the Certified PROFINET Installer and PROFINET Troubleshooting & Maintenance concentrates on the physical network the Certified PROFINET Engineer goes deeper into the protocol and configuration of the network.
During the training you learn the message structures and exchange in detail. With hands-on exercises you will get a look in configuration tools and learn the protocol in practice.

Who should attend

Network Engineers who program the controller and/or commissions the network.

Installing and programming of the network are different things. Their tool is the keyboard. One of the tasks is that the communication is fast enough for the process but, at the same time, prevent from having to many messages at the same time at certain points in the network.

  • PROFIBUS Troubleshooting & Maintenance (PN-T&M)
  • Certified PROFINET Installer (CPNI)
