A PGMMOD05 programming unit will be required for setting up the IAMS series signal conditioner.
Once setup, you do not need to keep it mounted to the module unless a local display is desired.
If you have multiple IAMS series modules that require the same setup. You can save the configuration to the PGMMOD05 unit, then download it to other IAMS modules. This function is under the advanced menu, memory store/ memory load parameter.
The module power connections are not polarity sensitive.

Programming the module input, display scale, and analog output is referenced on page 28-31 of the product manual. You generally will need to configure the following parameters.
Basic module programming
When installing the IAMS module. The below common parameters will need to be set.
Input type - IN.TYPE
Input unit-V/I.RANGE Your voltage or current input signal range.
Input -UNIT
Unit decimal place-DEC.P
Display low value-DISP.LO
Display high value-DISP.HI
Relative unit- REL.UN Normally, set to display, not percentage.
Relay function- R.1 FUNC Normally, setpoint
Relay condition- R1.CONT N.O. or N.C. condition
Relay setpoint- R1.SETP
Trip relay action - ACT.DIR
Trip relay hysteresis- R1.HYS
Analog output-ANA.OUT
Analog output range-O.RANGE
Output LO-OUT.LO
Output Hi-OUT.HI
Once the unit has been configured for the application. A long press of the OK button will exit configuration mode. It is suggested that you enter the advanced menu, memory save parameter and save your configuration to the PGMMOD05 unit.
