Position Summary 

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and driven Repair Technicianto join our team. In this hands-on role, you’ll diagnose and repair a variety of HMS products, ensuring we continue to meet high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. You’ll work closely with engineers and operations teams to keep things running smoothly.  

Essential Job Functions 

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose circuit-level failures to identify root causes. 

  • Perform component-level repairs on circuit boards and assemblies across various product lines. 

  • Execute rework tasks such as soldering and replacing or upgrading components. 

  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and customer service to document findings and provide accurate repair estimates. 

  • Maintain test fixtures and conduct routine preventive maintenance. 

  • Interpret wiring diagrams and assembly drawings while utilizing a wide range of electronic repair equipment. 

Minimum Requirements 

  • Associate’s degree in electrical engineering technology or equivalent relevant experience. 

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electronic troubleshooting and repair. 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to work with different departments effectively. 

  • Willingness to cross-train and gain proficiency across multiple product lines. 

  • Team-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. 

  • Dependable with a strong track record of attendance and punctuality. 

 

Working Conditions  

  • Occasionally lift and transport items up to 25 lbs. 

  • Periods of sitting, standing, and walking required throughout the workday. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial electronics troubleshooting and repair. 

  • IPC Certifications (or willingness to obtain).
