This is a remote position based within our Northeastern terriroty of the US. You will be working in the Industrial Data Solutions division within HMS Networks. 

About the position

The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships while driving growth within an assigned territory. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, supporting customer design and specification efforts, and expanding business through distributor partnerships.

About you

You are a relationship‑driven business development professional who thrives at the intersection of customer engagement, technical problem‑solving, and growth strategy. You enjoy building trust with customers and partners, uncovering new opportunities, and helping translate customer needs into successful design and specification wins.
You are comfortable working across a defined territory, collaborating closely with internal teams, and leveraging distributor relationships to expand market presence. With a consultative mindset, you are motivated by long‑term customer success and are energized by identifying and developing new business opportunities that drive sustainable growth.
