Position Summary 

 

HMS Networks is seeking a General Assembler to assemble industrial display and control equipment, human machine interface, electronic components and subassemblies. 

 

Essential Job Functions 

  • Assembles boards and units using hand tools to complete product assembly 

  • Performs burn-in testing 

  • Tests equipment for proper functionality 

  • Calibrates equipment based on testing results 

  • Labels and packs product based on specifications 

  • Follow standard operation procedures  

  • Read and interpret work instructions  

  • Proper use of hand tools  

  • Working knowledge of ESD Safety procedures  

  • Perform hand assembly tasks.  

Requirements 

  • 1-3 years’ experience in an assembler manufacturing setting preferred  

  • Have the ability to read and interpret documents and the ability to write routine reports 

 

Working Conditions 

 

  • Must be able to occasionally move and transport up to 25 lbs by oneself 

  • Continuous periods of sitting/standing/walking

Safety Hazards 

  • Adherence to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) safety and soldering equipment safety requirements posted in the manufacturing facility 

  • Read and follow SDS sheets posted in manufacturing facility
