The Anybus Tunnel Gateway establishes a direct connection between industrial control systems and devices to a 5G core network. It serves as a bridge, linking Industrial Ethernet networks, including EtherNet/IP and PROFINET, over 5G to the Anybus Wireless Bolt 5G.
Support for EtherNet/IP (including CIP Safety) and PROFINET (including PROFI SAFE).
The 4-port LAN switch facilitates the connection of industrial control systems and devices to the Anybus Tunnel Gateway.
Connect the 5G core to the WAN port, enabling the Anybus Gateway to link with Wireless Bolt 5G. This forms a unified Industrial Ethernet network for optimal PROFINET and EtherNet/IP performance over 5G.
To ensure PROFINET and certain EtherNet/IP functions (like device discovery and LLDP) operate on a 5G network, it’s necessary to bridge low-level (layer 2) communication across the 5G network (layer 3). This is accomplished using an industrial ethernet tunnel.
Industrial components ensure the reliable operation of the Tunnel Gateway in harsh environments.
Use the intuitive web-based user interface to easily configure the product via the drag-and-drop functionality or to analyze live data, export log files, and generate support packages.
Pairing Anybus Wireless Bolt 5G with the Anybus Tunnel Gateway enable a seamless industrial network architecture over 5G.
