Channel Sales Manager

Do you want to work with sales of ground-breaking technology for the Industrial Internet of Things? HMS Industrial Networks is looking for an experienced Channel Sales Manager to help us build our distributor channel in India.

About us

HMS develops and market hardware and software for industrial communication products used by thousands of customers worldwide. Our products are used to enable industrial machinery to communicate and is fundamental for companies wanting to realize the Industrial Internet of Things.

At our our office in Pune, we are a small but skilled and professional team offering sales and support to the Indian market. We re now looking for a Channel Sales Manager to build and maintain a long-term strategy for Channel Sales in India.

About the position

As a Channel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for sales via partners and distributors in India. Your tasks will include:

  • Define annual targets, strategies and activities together with local manager.
  • Identify, recruit and introduce new distributors.
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with assigned distributors.
  • Develop profitable business models based on market trends.
  • Coordinate with distributors to identify business opportunities.
  • Work with distributors to conduct product presentations to end customers.
  • Ensure that distributors and partners are up to date with product information, including new products and features.

About you

You have a B.Sc., M.S. or the equivalent experience in electronics and at least seven years of industry experience. You have a good knowledge of industrial automation as well as modern IT systems and you can present documented skills in one or several of the following areas:

  • Advanced sales
  • Product management
  • Marketing management
  • Sales management

On a more personal level, you are customer-focused and good at explaining advanced technical issues in an easy-to-understand way. You have a lot of personal integrety and enjoy making sales and interacting with customers and partners.
