Business Development Manager

HMS Industrial Networks is seeking an experienced and high-performing Business Development Manager to expand Intesis* brand of building automation products within SEA.

The candidate will report to the Area Sales Manager for Southeast Asia (based in Singapore). The vacant position is based in Singapore and expected to travel within SEA.

Primary focus shall be to develop Intesis Sales channels in Building Automation sector according to growth strategies and plans.

Key job responsibilities include (but not limited to); 

  • Analyse market conditions, define and execute Intesis growth strategy for SEA
  • Achieve sales revenue and gross margins targets
  • Drive specification of usage of the Intesis Box product family for Building Automation with a primary focus on HVAC applications, addressing distributors, system integrators and OEMs  
  • Explore partnership with Air-Conditioning equipment (AC) manufacturers and Building Management System (BMS) vendors for business opportunities  
  • Expand distribution network within SEA.
  • Establish strong relationships with distributors, identify business opportunities and execute joint sales and marketing activities
  • Define and execute distributor development plan and process
  • Set sales and marketing activity targets for distributors
  • Organize product updates, sales and technical training's for distributors

Ideal candidates should have at least 5+ years of relevant industry experience and contacts, with a proven record in Sales, Pre-sales, account management, business development and/or technical services role.  

Candidates with technical competency in building automation communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, DALI, KNX, etc..) shall be preferred.

Travelling within SEA (~50%) will be expected.

Candidates applying for this position should be self-driven, practical, social and collaborative in their approach, with positive thinking. Previous experience working in Building Automation/HVAC industry will be an advantage.
