Interbus Serial Gateway

The Anybus Communicator Gateway for Interbus is an external DIN-rail mounted gateway which provides Interbus network connectivity via a serial RS232/RS422/RS485 interface. The Communicator contains a conformance tested Anybus-S Interbus interface.

It has serial protocol support for Master Mode and Generic Data Mode which is fully configurable through the Anybus Configuration Manager for Windows and the configuration port on the Anybus Communicator. Special support is included for Modbus RTU master functions. Other protocols can be implemented by HMS on request.

The delivery comes complete with a DSUB connector with screw terminals for the serial sub-network, CD with Configuration Software and User Manuals, RS232 Configuration Cable and a short Installation Leaflet for the electrical installation.
