HMS gives highest priority to the quality and environmental work within the Group. The efforts are aimed at maintaining and improving the process-oriented ISO 9001:2000 certified quality system which fits well with the flow-oriented organisation of HMS. Major quality assurance work has taken place with regard to development and manufacturing as well as efficiency-improvements programmes. HMS’ quality efforts strive to increase customers’ satisfaction. Other important elements of the quality system work include continuous improvements throughout the organisation, employee training and the adaptation of equipment and methods for efficient manufacturing.
