Manufacturing
In the autumn of 2007, HMS relocated its HQ and production facility to a new custom-built location in the heart of Halmstad, Sweden. Production is located in a specific area with full ESD and ambient control allowing fullfillment of highest customer demands on soldering quality. The new automated warehouse speeds up the material handling processes and helps to provide just-in-time delivery to large OEM customers.
Our customers use our products in critical and demanding applications, in
a wide range of industries.
QCD (Quality, Cost and Delivery) is a basic foundation for HMS operations.
Quality control is a key part of our manufacturing. By having our own manufacturing
capacity and in-house know how, it makes us be
able to respond to high demands of flexibility and lean manufacturing.
HMS takes
full responsibility for the entire chain of manufacturing, both in our own
high tech electronics factory, adjacent to the HMS head office in Halmstad,
as well as via our sourcing partners around the world.
HMS has a unique capability
to meet our customer’s demand
of flexibility and quality, because we stay in control
of the production, quality assurance and assembly of critical components as
well as the final testing of all finished products. HMS’ Management
has strong focus on maintaining best manufacturing
technology, processes and quality. As we know this is a key factor for serving
our customers.
