at Scanautomatic Fair. |

Anybus-IC product was awarded bronze in the
German Automation Award at SPS/IPC/Drives
Fair in Nürnberg. |

was chosen as one of “The 100 most
interesting companies to see at Hanover Fair” out
of 7,000 exhibitors, by Control Engineering
Europe. The Anybus-Communicator was awarded the IAN Automation Excellence Award. |

Milestones
1988: HMS was founded by Mr. Hassbjer and a proprietary fibre optic network system was designed.
1994: Development of first Anybus module.
1995: First major installation of Anybus modules in three of General Motors’ factories.
1997: HMS founded IntelliCom Innovation AB, a company owned jointly by HMS and four entrepreneurs, focusing on building automation network technology.
1998: Sales office in the US established.
1999: SEB Företagsinvest and Industrial Development & Investment invest in HMS.
2000: HMS was certified according to the ISO 9001:2000
quality standard, as the first company in Sweden.
Sales office established in Germany through acquisition of Vcom GmbH.
Sales
office in Japan established.
Anybus patent approved in the US.
2001: HMS’ new production plant in Halmstad,
Sweden, taken into operation.
100,000 Anybus network interfaces shipped (accumulated).
Release of the Networking Product Anybus-Communicator.
2002: Release of the Networking Product Anybus X-gateway..
2003: 200,000 Anybus network interfaces shipped (accumulated).
2004: Anybus CompactCom pre-released, 3 new patent applications.
Segulah II, L.P. invests in HMS and replaces SEB and IDI.
300,000 Anybus network interfaces shipped (accumulated).
2005: Sales office in Beijing, China established.
IntelliCom refocused on Remote Device Management products and systems (M2M).
First customer products with Anybus CompactCom released.
Environmental management system implemented according to Sony Green Partner Program.
450.000 Anybus network interfaces shipped!
2006: Sales office in Milan, Italy established.
Release of the Anybus NP-30 single chip network processor.
Sales office in Paris, France established.
600,000 Anybus networks interfaces shipped (accumulated).
2007: May: 700,000 Anybus network interfaces shipped (accumulated).
Relocation to new Head office and factory.
